Monthly Program Notes MOST Member Center Targeting Oncologists (New Material) The American Cancer Society reports the lifetime risk of an American male being diagnosed with cancer sometime in his lifetime is almost 45%, and an American female's lifetime risk of developing cancer is about 38%. With these statistics, it isn't hard to imagine why a home care agency should include a specialized focus on cancer care for clients. This month's materials target oncologists specifically, but would also be appropriate for any medical referral source with cancer patients.
